1. Who we are
TOP PROG ("we", "us") provides diagnostic and programming software for professional workshops. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it. Contact: support@topprog.net.
2. Data we collect
- Account data — username, your name, email, phone number with its country code (every account gives one, so we can reach you about your licence), and the workshop/company details and city you provide when creating an account or in your profile. Where WhatsApp verification is enabled, you confirm the phone number with a one-time code (delivered through Meta's WhatsApp Business platform; we store the number and whether it was verified, never the code).
- Sign-in with Google — if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and a Google account identifier with us so we can create your account and sign you in. We never receive your Google password and get no access to anything else in your Google account (mail, files, contacts).
- Licensing & usage — licence key, the PC ID of the computer you register, token balance and subscription terms and a record of operations performed (for billing and support).
- Payment data — processed by our payment provider; we store order records and invoices, not full card numbers.
- Support & communications — messages you send us and related metadata.
- Technical data — basic logs (IP, timestamps, app version) needed to run and secure the service. When you sign in to your account we also note the country your connection comes from (worked out from the IP address; only the country is kept with your account, not the address).
3. How we use it
To provide and secure the software, activate licences, process payments and tokens, provide support and remote assistance, send service notices (receipts, low-balance and failed-job notifications), and meet legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you, to comply with law, and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. Where required, we rely on your consent (which you may withdraw).
5. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and Google when you sign in with Google) under appropriate agreements, and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We keep account, billing and operation records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax and dispute-resolution purposes, then delete or anonymise them.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents where required.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
